as 1 paise/6 seconds and all STD calls to Docomo for 1 paise/ 2 seconds 24*7 .
So Effective call charge is 10 paisa/minute local and 30 paisa/minute STD .

plan named as ‘Night Pack’ for prepaid customers across all circles. Any
Prepaid user of Tata Docomo can awail this pack at Rs 14, the offer is vaid
for a limited time only until 30 October 2009 .

The night pack has a validity of 30 days from the date of recharge and it allows a pre-paid subscriber to make calls on any local Tata Docomo, Tata Indicom or Virgin Mobile connection at 1 paisa per 5 seconds i.e. 12p/minute between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.

Tata Docomo had launched its GSM service in the Madhya Pradesh and Chhatisgarh circle by introducing the same one paisa per second plan [ ipaisa/sec ].

"With the launch of Tata Docomo GSM service in MPCG circle, we are launching the concept of fare being fair so that the subscribes will be able to enjoy the benefits of Pay-as-you-use by introducing one paise per second pulse," Tata Tele Services Limited (TTSL) Managing Director Anil Sardana said announcing the launch of GSM service in a press conference.

"The service is transparent in a way that you pay only for what you use like if you have made a call for one minute and 20 seconds then you have to pay only for that period and not for two minutes as is the practise with other service providers, All calls, within network, outside network, roaming, domestic and international calls will be charged as per the one paisa per second pulse never-before tariff option,"he said.

The service was launched by Sardana by making first call to the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and his Chhatisgarh counterpart Dr Raman Singh.

Tata Teleservices Ltd (TTSL) launched its GSM services under Tata DoCoMo brand in Maharashtra (a state of India). TTSL has spent over Rs 1000 crore on its 3G-ready GSM network and has GSM spectrum for 18 out of country’s 22 telecom circles.

Tata Teleservices (Tata indicom) is all set to launch its GSM services branded under the name Tata DoCoMo, reflecting the name of its shareholder and partner, Japanese telco NTT DoCoMo. Tata DoCoMo is going to launch its services OFFICIALY by end of this month (june 2009), initially it will be start only in Southern region of India.

Tata Teleservices, a CDMA mobile operator, moved into the GSM forray following the footsteps of its CDMA rival RCom ( Relaince GSM ), which recently launched its GSM services. The operators anticipate that the dual-technology will help them attract larger subscriber base from market leaders Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Essar after MNP is introduced in the nation by end of 2009. NTT DoCoMo will help Tata launch services such as i-mode, location-based services, mobile payments and 3G in India. Tata is investing USD 2 billion in the nationwide GSM roll-out.
